Service Update: Potential ILA Strike

In the event of a strike by the International Longshoremen's Association (ILA), we do not expect any disruption to our Puerto Rico service. In the meantime, we are monitoring events and will provide updates as conditions change.

The Canadian rail strike has ended. Estes cross-border shipping services remain on schedule.

The recent Canadian rail strike is now over, with Canadian Pacific (CP) having resumed work on August 23 and Canadian National Railway (CNR) on August 26. While CP expects normal operations by the end of August, CNR has yet to provide a timeline. It may take a few weeks for Canadian rail networks to fully recover, and freight shipping by railway between the U.S. and Canada may still face delays. However, Estes’ cross-border services remain on schedule.

Our Commitment to You:

  • No Rail Dependency: Estes does not rely on rail services for our Canadian operations. Our network to and from Canada remains fluid and on schedule.
  • Comprehensive Shipping Solutions: Whether you require Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) or Volume/Truckload services, Estes is here to assist. We offer Time Critical services to direct points within Canada, ensuring your shipments arrive when needed.
  • Plenty of Capacity: We have the capacity and expertise to handle your volume/truckload shipments, even during this period of disruption. Our team is ready to manage your general commodity shipments with the same reliability you've come to expect from us.

How We Can Help: If you’re looking for reliable alternatives during the rail strike, now is an excellent time to explore how Estes can support your Canadian business. Our team is eager to discuss your specific needs and provide tailored solutions to keep your supply chain running smoothly.
